FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Ashish is the Founder and Principal Consultant of CanSat Consulting Inc. He is an avid science enthusiast having a bachelor’s in biotechnology and a master’s in food sciences. After spending 8 years working in the diverse fields he knows the depths of quality and compliance associated with various acts and regulations.
Ashish has extensive experience working on licensing applications and developing QMS (quality management systems) from the ground level. Ashish has also successfully built out QA and Regulatory teams for his previous clients and employers. He has helped his previous clients through tough times which included major recalls, licensing non-compliances, facility-wide product contamination, and major inspection observations.
Ashish is a registered QAP with Health Canada in good standing with an active Health Canada Security Clearance. He is an active member of the Regulatory Committee of the C45 Quality Association (the largest QA Association for Cannabis in Canada) and has been invited to panel events to discuss the impact of COVID on cannabis industries and to advise on preparing for Health Canada regulatory inspections. Ashish has also been invited for a radio interview (@Sirius XM) to discuss his professional journey and to educate the audience on quality and compliance matters. During his career, Ashish has received numerous scholarships such as Saskatchewan Innovation and Opportunity Scholarship, gained various accolades in technical and scientific writing, published book chapters and research papers, and presented his work at a number of conferences.
